ASPIRE Academy at Arredondo

New School Opening July 2025! 

ASPIRE Academy at Arredondo will become exclusively a self-contained 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-grade gifted school committed to providing opportunities for gifted students in a small, safe, and supportive environment with a fast-paced and challenging curriculum. 
Our gifted programming meets the cognitive and affective needs of students while fostering recognition and development of their individual strengths.
 

What is ASPIRE Academy at Arredondo?

  • Self-contained gifted school for students who score a 94% and higher in at least one area on a state board approved test for gifted identification with an 85th percentile or higher in at least one additional area.

  • Focused on personalized pacing, skills-based mastery, accelerated coursework, and meaningful learning.

  •  Experiences will be presented in ways that students learn best and encourages them to discover deeper connections to their education.

  • Taught by teachers with a gifted endorsement

  • Provides an educational pathway to the award-winning and nationally recognized ASPIRE Academy at Connolly and continues with gifted high school options in the Tempe Union High School District 

  • Incorporates grade-level Arizona Academic Standards as well as the National Standards in Gifted and Talented Education
